In the style of soloing, you will learn the fun stuff, the things that bring a solo to life.
The Style Of Soloing will teach you a variety of tricks and techniques that will surely catch the attention of an audience.
The course begins with a lesson on using Open Strings in ways you may not have thought of. From there we look at adding Bluesy Double Stops followed by two lessons on Melodic Double Stops. Next we Dive Deeper Into Bends, followed by a lesson on Rhythmic Twists. There are then two lessons on Chromatics, a lesson on Injecting Chords and finally a discussion on The Elements Of Touch.
Through this course, you will learn the things that give a solo its flavour and wow factor.
Is there a certain genre that these courses work best for?
What I teach is music theory and how it applies to guitar. This is not genre specific though classical musicians look at these things slightly differently than the rest.
Lot’s of guitarists offer courses, why should I get yours?
There are lot’s of options out there, what makes each course unique is the person teaching them. If you enjoy learning from me on YouTube, you will enjoy these courses. Especially since the animating in my courses was outsourced and is beyond anything I could do on my own.
How much experience do I need for this course?
This course is aimed at the guitarist who is already fairly comfortable soloing but is looking to take it to the next level. Unless otherwise noted, the lessons in this course are self contained lessons, you do not need to do them in order and you can skip over things that are less interesting to you. To get the most out of this course I recommend understanding the theoretical concepts taught in The Rudiments and Beyond The Basics.
